1980 - PRESENT/ SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Started Steven Lee Production in 1980 while an undergrad student at San Francisco State to produce, promote, and host entertainment events for up to 1000 attendees throughout the Bay Area. Opened first restaurant and nightclub venue Glas Kat in 2000, later rebranded as The Grand. In 2014, organized a historical preservation project through an investment group plus the original owners of Sam Wo restaurant to preserve the famous 100+ year old San Francisco Chinatown landmark. Opened Lion’s Den, the first reopened entertainment venue in San Francisco Chinatown in 45 years. Advocated for San Francisco public parking lot safety legislation authored by Supervisors David Chiu and Scott Weiner in 2006, and served as a board member of the California Music & Culture Association to provide counsel on government regulations, alcohol related matters, public safety, and educational outreach.

MONTH 2012 - JUNE 30,  2022/SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Focused on public safety measures, and initiatives to increase tourism and business operations. Consulted with the SFPD to create the first Asian Community Bilingual Crime Reporting Hotline and Community Task Force in 2021.
